Page 4: "Out in the Mud" & "Ditto Dried"

The Blue Bell inn, pulled down fairly recently, was on Liverpool Road, the present A57.

Out in the Mud: Thursday 31st March: Dave Jackson & Amy (tandem) & Arth & I (on Bicyclettes, my new one) travel with the wind to Blue Bell

We get caught in a Blizzard and struggle home (refuse Jackson's cab idea)

Ditto Dried: Next day, Friday, Arth * I ride out on our Bicyclettes over the same portion of road and strange to say find it quite dusty

Saturday: Arthur and Walter Dutton go out with the Anfield Cycling Club to rainhill and Warrington

And have a nice moderate ride home in the bright moonlight
