The author Mike Matthews on Llandudno promenade returning to the Eppington Hotel. Of Llandudno prom, Mike comments 'I cycled along the prom. I know there is a debate going on about this, but it is by far the safest and most scenic route. If you go to most continental seaside towns they all have a route along the front that is clearly marked and used properly. Last summer I went to Mallorca. There's a 20 km route round Alcudia Bay. It is well used and respected by all. It's much better than trying to get along the busy roads, especially in summer. |
