At Penmaenpool the cycle path passes directly between the George III inn and the edge of the estuary

Between Penmaenpool and its mouth the Mawddach estuary is quite unspoilt

Crossing the three quarter mile long Barmouth bridge is probably the highlight of the ride. Here is the view looking south-east towards Cadair Idris

As with most resorts these days, cycling is permitted on Barmouth promenade
