    Colwyn Bay CTC Cymru members recently welcomed John Birks from Macclesfield, who, with the support of the Stockport Health Promotion Unit, has formed the 'Second Chance Cycling Club' for patients recovering from heart attacks.

 backgrounds of heart problems, but there is no NHS cycling initiative in North Wales similar to the Stockport one.

    Local CTC representative Roy Spilsbury says:

    "We still have a long way to go before health agencies act in a practical way to encourage cycling as part of a healthy everyday lifestyle."
