National Cycle Route 5
Colwyn Promenade Public Consultation  – have your say!

The next phase of the proposals to improve the sea defences along Colwyn Bay Promenade has now been published.  An exhibition has already been held at Porth Eirias, but the public still has the opportunity to contribute to the design proposals insofar as they affect cycling and walking.

Early indications suggest that the cycling access will be maintained, but in accord with substantial supporting evidence there will be no separate corridors for walking and cycling.  Users will be encouraged to negotiate space sensibly and courteously as they do on Llandudno and other proms.
