As our daily lives become ever more challenging, it is worth remembering what the cycling artist, Frank Patterson, had to say at this time of the year in 1926. It was the year of the general strike in the UK. The Great Depression was to follow. This sketch appeared in the Gazette of the Cyclists Touring Club.
