The village of Bryn Du can be seen across the fields. Note the converted windmills. Formerly Anglesey was known as the granary of Wales. Now there is not a field of corn to be seen, though there are many former windmills. |

Cable Bay (Porth Trecastell) is popular in summer with swimmers, surfers and canoeists. Though it is by the side of the road you do have to dismount at the car park to see it. On the top of the headland, just visible in the photo, is a remarkable burial chamber, which can be reached in a couple of minutes' stroll and from the top of which one is rewarded with superb views. |
