Chester Cycling Demonstration Town  

SUNDAY 27th MARCH 2011

Venue: NEW SCENE CENTRE, NEWTON, CHESTER, CH2 2HH

(along-side the GREENWAY)

 11am - 4pm

 

 

Celebrating the conclusion of Chester's status as a Cycling Demonstration Town, the event will include a Cycle Market featuring around 20 market stalls devoted to all things cycling.   Local bike clubs and organisations, including CTC Chester and North Wales, Sustrans, Chester Cycling Campaign and Cycle Chester will be represented.

Local Cycle Rides 4 to 9 miles

Volunteers Needed 

The event is organised by PENNINE EVENTS who invite experienced cyclists with good knowledge of the locality to assist with the bike rides. 

Time Slots:  10 30am--12 30pm : 11 30am--1 30pm: 12 30pm--2 30 pm 1 30pm--3 30pm; 2 30pm--4 30pm

 All volunteers are covered by Public Liability Insurance and the rides have been Risked Assessed.

FROM WALES - It seems likely an informal group will be pootling along to the event from Connah's Quay quayside about 11am, for anyone who is interested.  This is not part of the official events, and anyone who joins this group does so at their own risk. Children must be accompanied by responsible adults.
